Musical Wilderness of Mirrors
20th Anniversary Celebration

The final spring offering on March 29 and 30 is called “A Musical Wilderness of Mirrors.” Scott MacPherson, the founding artistic director of SACC and all past SACC singers will be invited to perform the 19th-century masterwork Abendlied by Josef Rheinberger and the 21st-century commission, “I Sing to Use the Waiting” by Andrew Rindfleisch. The program will pair old and new music from the past twenty years of the professional choral organization. Disparate composers such as Josquin and John Lennon, JS Bach and Joni Mitchell, Mozart and Hammerstein, Gershwin and Gretchaninoff will be featured. Also featured is the world premiere work by Hungarian composer, Gyöngyösi Levente, Exaltabo te.
